Does Hookium ever hold my money?+
No. Relay delivers to your address on HyperEVM, and Elysium's own bridge contracts credit the same address on Elysium. Hookium only builds the transactions for your wallet to sign.
How long does it take?+
From HyperEVM: seconds. From another chain: about a minute to reach HyperEVM, then seconds after your signature. Back out to HyperEVM: about 5.6 days, then a claim.
Why does leaving take so long?+
Elysium is a rollup. Its bridge waits out a challenge window before it pays a withdrawal on HyperEVM, so anyone can prove a wrong state in the meantime. It's the same design Arbitrum uses.
Can I send from an exchange?+
Yes: pick Bring it from another chain, choose the network your exchange withdraws on, and use Send from anywhere. Withdraw to the deposit address Relay gives you, and keep the refund address as your own wallet. Never withdraw from an exchange straight to Elysium's inbox.
My HYPE is on Hyperliquid, not HyperEVM+
Your trading account's HYPE sits on HyperCore. Move it to HyperEVM in Hyperliquid's own app (to this same wallet), then come back here for the one signature.
Do smart wallets work?+
No, plain wallets only. Elysium credits a deposit from a contract (or an EIP-7702 delegated wallet) to a different, aliased address that no key controls. The page checks for this before you sign.
What does it cost?+
Going in: HyperEVM gas, plus Relay's fee if you start on another chain (shown before you send). Coming out: Elysium gas now and HyperEVM gas when you claim.
